My name is Patrick and I live in Seattle, Washington. I’m young, naive, probably pretty stupid, and searching for the next “big thing.” I hear stories of the internet/dotcom boom and wonder when a movement akin to this will strike again. I’m curious how humans (NOT history) repeat themselves, and the implications this has on the future of humanity. I’m working for a Generative AI startup and have been messing around with ChatGPT plugins, Bard, ClipDrop, etc. I feel a deep sense of passion for this space; it’s a gut feeling. And although I’m not a technical person, the reason I am creating this space is to not only help me learn and retain as much information about Generative AI, but also to help others hop on the rocket ship of this technology.

All my life (yes, my vast life of 23 years) I’ve been interested in the unknown, the complex, and the subjects that I believe have the greatest potential. I’ve done personal, in-depth research on quantum mechanics, astronomy, blockchain and decentralization, and many other topics. Now, I’m interested in Generative AI. The only difference is that I believe Generative AI is already beginning to change the world as we know it, and the rate of innovation is increasing exponentially.

Look, I have no fucking clue where the future of Generative AI will lead us. Will it destroy us? Will it unleash our true potential? Or will it simply fizzle out and die? I can only begin to speculate where the future of Generative AI will take us, but in writing these posts and researching these concepts, I hope I’m able to shine a glimmer of light on the opaqueness of existential meaning through the lens of Generative creation. In doing so, my goal is to help YOU embrace the changes that will determine the future of reality, hoping that you find clarity and meaning in the chaos of life, as our evolving nature never ceases. Join me as I embark on learning something that I have absolutely no understanding of, and hopefully, just hopefully, we can chart the future of reality as we know it.
